MMGY Expansion

MMGY completed a 6,500-square-foot tenant improvement within the Edison District Building in downtown Overland Park, KS. Tasked with addressing acoustical challenges in the space, Nexus 5 Group selected Silentia Timbercast™ baffles in Natural Maple for their sound-absorbing properties and aesthetic appeal.

The project showcases our Silentia Profile felt baffle system, which features concealed mounting hardware that allows the baffles to mimic the appearance of wood beams. This unique design enhances the visual appeal and integrates seamlessly with the surrounding wood elements, including the wood surround of the video monitor and the wood-backed seating area. The addition of a green live wall introduces a biophilic touch, further complementing the woodgrain color of the baffles.

Arranged in a fanned-out manner to accentuate the circular seating area, the baffles effectively reduce noise in both the gathering area and the expansive open office space, making the environment more comfortable and conducive to productivity.
