As part of a bold rebranding initiative, the Lloydminster Public Library, in partnership with the City of Lloydminster, unveiled a vibrant new visual identity. The refreshed space is designed to reflect the library’s renewed mission to spark curiosity, promote inclusion, and offer an engaging environment for all.
The interior renovation embraces this direction with a bright, modern aesthetic that aligns with the library’s new logo and color palette. More than just a home for books, the library now includes a makerspace, recording studio, and dedicated private study areas for both teens and children, encouraging creativity and connection across age groups.
At the heart of the transformation is Maxxit’s linear plank ceiling system, finished in a bold powdercoat finish. The sleek lines and rich finish bring a sense of warmth, energy, and continuity to the open concept design. Complementing this is a custom white powdercoat partition wall, which defines seating zones while preserving open sightlines and striking a balance between functionality and flow.
This project exemplifies how thoughtful architectural elements can enhance user experience, support community goals, and bring a space’s new identity to life.
