When global investment firm Alliance Bernstein set out to establish their New York headquarters within The Spiral—Manhattan’s latest architectural icon—they turned to Gensler to craft an environment rooted in transparency, flexibility, and collaboration. To bring this vision to life, Gensler selected Maxxit as a key partner in delivering a ceiling and wall solution that was as functional as it was visually compelling.

Maxxit collaborated closely with Gensler and Eurotech Construction to develop a custom industrial-inspired Grille Open Cell system, tailored to meet the demands of a dynamic, modern workplace. Comprising sleek modular panels finished in a striking high-gloss “Forged Charcoal” metallic paint, the system offers seamless integration with lighting, ventilation, and life-safety infrastructure, without compromising design intent.

Engineered for adaptability, the solution accommodated diverse ceiling and wall conditions throughout the space, while also enabling rapid installation and effortless plenum access. The result was a clean, streamlined buildout with zero items on the final punch list—an achievement that speaks to Maxxit’s precision craftsmanship and responsive, team-driven approach.
