We collaborated with Gensler to retrofit ceiling panels for one of the biggest media corporations in the United States. Our project involved replacing the ceiling panels for three floors of elevator lobbies.

Using our Agilis large format ceiling panels, we created custom ceiling that met the client’s specifications and aesthetic requirements. Each panel is crafted with cutouts to integrate with the linear lighting, emergency signs and sprinkler system seamlessly. One panel edge was custom bent to provide a smooth transition to the light cove.

To meet the technical demands, we incorporated panel stiffeners to avoid oil caning in the large panels and did a custom color match to ensure the panels precisely matched the color and gloss finish of the walls.

With a plenum space of 3 1/2 inches above the panels, precise planning and execution were essential to securely attach the panels. It was crucial to ensure the panel height aligned perfectly, to accommodate tight clearance of the large doors in the lobby space.
