As a leading commercial property and casualty insurance group in Canada, Northbridge Financial Corporation sought to transform their downtown Toronto head office into a more collaborative and dynamic workspace. The design focused on providing greater flexibility for employees while maintaining functionality and comfort.

To help achieve this, Maxxit contributed custom architectural elements that define and enhance the space. In the social space, Maxxit’s ceiling-integrated partitions offer a unique blend of openness and privacy. These partitions not only separate the lounge zone from adjacent office cubicles, but also support ceiling fans—thanks to the clever integration of slatted ceiling features—ensuring the area remains both cool and inviting.

In the reception area and boardroom, Maxxit’s wood ceiling baffles bring warmth and texture into the corporate environment. Designed with integrated linear lighting, the baffle layouts create visual rhythm while delivering acoustic comfort and a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike.
